By ‘sustainable logistics’, we mean that transport – as well as being climate-efficient – is also safe, punctual and cost-effective, and that we take social, environmental and economic responsibility. We are actively committed to environmental protection and are constantly developing our procedures to minimise our environmental impact. We monitor our consumption and choose fuels that are sound for both the economy and the environment, whilst working efficiently to optimise the load on our vehicles. We are always keen to explore new technologies that can reduce fossil fuel emissions.

That is why we have also invested a great deal of time and energy in certifying various aspects of our operations. We are a responsible logistics centre committed to meeting the requirements regarding road safety, emissions and the working environment. We comply with the laws, regulations and recommendations applicable to our operations. We are proud to announce that we are ISO-certified for quality (ISO 9001) and the environment (ISO 14001). This means that we are constantly working to reduce our environmental impact, improve our operations to enhance service levels and delivery reliability, and create a better working environment for our staff.

We have also been accredited by Fair Transport. Fair Transport forms the basis for sustainable business and is the industry’s way of highlighting sustainable transport. On the fairtransport.se platform, transport providers register their commitments and become searchable by responsible transport buyers.
The latest challenge we have taken on is that of a fossil-free Sweden. Fossil-Free Sweden challenges companies, organisations, local authorities and regions to implement concrete measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Miljöbyggnad – the key to sustainable community development.
Everyone wants to live and work in a safe and healthy environment. Miljöbyggnad is a Swedish environmental certification scheme run by the Sweden Green Building Council, which promotes good environments in which to live, work and play. Through rigorous assessment of the building against sixteen different indicators relating to energy use, indoor environment and materials, Miljöbyggnad ensures that the building you are in is good for you and for the environment. GP Last’s new facility has achieved Silver certification, something of which we are very proud.
